“Man Boobs” and Plastic Surgery
“Man boobs,” medically known as gynecomastia, is an enlargement of the male breast and chest due to either fat, breast tissue, or both.
This causes a feminization of the male chest and the man starts to resemble a woman in chest configuration. Most men find this embarrassing and hide it by wearing shirts all the time.
It can be caused by actual breast development in young males or it can be acquired by fat deposit in older males. There is almost never a hormonal imbalance but it should be checked out in young males with a simple blood test.
The Vaser Ultrasonic Liposuction Device has made the gynecomastia procedure easy.
The fat is melted away and then suctioned, and the breast tissue excised if necessary. This is all done via a small incision around the areola. A compressive comfortable dressing is applied at the end.
The surgery takes about two hours to complete, and the pain is well-controlled. The entire experience is easy and well-appreciated.
